PONDA: Hemant Jaiswal won SRS Chess tournament organised by Ponda Taluka Chess Association (PTCA) in association with SRS Vedic Mathematics Academy at Talaulim, Ponda. A total of 26 players participated from Matruchhaya’s Bal Kalyan Ashram and invited students of HI section of Lokvishwas Pratishthan.
Narayan Shankhwalkar and Vedang Kerkar secured 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Consolation prizes were awarded to Suraj Gaude, Hardik KC, Prameshwar Jaiswal, Sanjay Zore, Praveen Desai and Urvi Talaulikar.

The prizes were distributed by Sagar Sakordekar (founder, SRS Vedic Mathematics Academy and PTCA president), Amogh Namshiker (chief arbiter), Arun Dharmadhikari (director, Bal Kalyan Ashram), Anand Naik (Teacher, Lokvishwas Pratishthan), Dr. Anant Naik, Nagesh Phadte and Sanjay Nadkarni. Sagar Sakordekar welcomed and Arun Dharmadhikari proposed vote of thanks. Amit Karvande and Swapnil took active part in conducting the tournament.
