PANJIM: Joe Cookies booked their place in the semi-finals after registering a 2-0 win against Vasco Veterans, in the All-Goa Veterans football tournament, organised by Mix Friends, at Santa Cruz ground, on Tuesday. Goals from Jerson Fernandes and Melvin Fernandes were enough to see Joe Cookies through to the last-four stage.
Vasco tried to stage a comeback and made attempts on goal, but the Joe Cookies defence stood strong.
