The previous record was in the name of Vasco which had defeated Dabolim 18-0 a few weeks back.
Salgaocar Juniors faced very little resistance as the ball hardly ventured into their half. Had not been for Dabolim goalkeeper, the scoreline would have been even higher.
The architect for Salgaocars was 12-year old Danny Dave Fernandes from Arlem, Margao. Although sjort in stature, he skillfully scored 8 goals.
Delbert Francis Fernandes, his mate upfront, scored 5.
Danny was adjudged man-of-the match. Mariano Dias, the Technical Director of Salgaocar Youth Development was very pleased with the performance.
