MARGAO: Sonali Malik, first year student of Government College, Quepem has been selected to represent the Indian baseball team for the Baseball World championship to be held from August 21 to 25, in Seoul, South Korea.
She is one of the four Goan girls selected in the Indian team. The college principal and director of Higher Education B G Nayak, vice-principal Ashok Mangutkar and members, staff and students wished her all the best for the upcoming competition.
Sonali was felicitated at the hands Nayak at the Independence Day function held in the college.
