Top seeds Anurag and Ritviz in joint lead

PANJIM: Top seed IM Anurag Mhamal (Goa), Ritviz Parab (Goa) are in joint lead with 15 other players having three points each, at the end of the third round of 2nd Desai Pratishthan's late Laxmikant Desai all-India open FIDE rating chess tournament organized by Ponda Taluka Chess Association and Wagle High School Golden Jubilee Celebration Committee, at Wagle HS, Mangeshi, on Thursday.

Soni Krishnan (Delhi), Rishubh Naik (Goa), Barath M (Goa), AK Kalshyan (Delhi), Ajay Kumar Rai (Delhi), Arjun Adappa (Karnataka), Rahul VS (Tamil Nadu), Gopal Shah (Gujarat), Rajesh Kumar (Delhi), Datta Kambli (Goa), Aditee Prabhugaonkar, Satbir Singh (Delhi), Anirudh Parsekar, Om Barde and Ashmit Kumar are also on three points.

Sudhakar Patgar lost to Anurag Mhamal, Ritviz Parab beat Vraj Porob, Sanjay Thorat lost to Soni Krishnan, Rishubh Naik beat Sunad Govekar while Eesh Prabhudesai lost to Barath M.
