MARGAO: Terming Health Minister Laxmikant Parsekar as grossly incompetent, the United Goans Democratic Party has demanded the immediate sacking of the Health Minister blaming him and the government for the mess with respect to the post-graduate course in Goa Medical College.
“The GMC is plagued by a big mess over post-graduate admissions. It has affected the future of doctors in Goa. We feel that it is imperative that the best of students must get into the post-graduate course.
Everybody knows about the chaos in the examination system in the GMC. Their internal assessment is a failure. Marks have been given on the basis of favouritism,” UGDP senior Vice-President Radharao Gracias said at a media conference.
