MARGAO: The Additional District and Sessions Judge Margao on Thursday ordered to frame charges against two brothers arrested by Vasco police in an attempt to murder of one resident of New Vaddem, Vasco.

Vasco police had arrested two the tenants at New Vaddem for assaulting their landlords with choppers over the issue of vacating the rented house.
Jesus Anthony Fernandes, age 20, had complained to Vasco Police Station that accused Rajesh and Sanjay Warkhandkar tried to attack him but he escaped the attack. However, when his two uncles, namely Gabby and Paulo D’Mello intervened and tried to stop the fight, both the accused persons charged at the D’Mello brothers and assaulted them with choppers causing deep cuts on their heads and near ears.
The arrested accused persons are natives of Maharashtra. The weapons used in the crime have been attached by the police. Both the injured were admitted at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim for treatment.
