CUNCOLIM: Infant Jesus HS, Colva, St Xavier HS, Velim, Marina English HS, Verna and St Jude’s HS, Betalbatim moved into the semi-finals of the 3rd OLHESA inter-school football tournament organised by Our Lady of Health Ex-Students Association, at Cuncolim school ground.
In the quarters, Infant Jesus HS beat Regina Martyrum HS of Assolna 2-1 via the tie- breaker. St Xavier HS beat OL of Health HS, Cuncolim 2-0. Marina English HS, Verna beat Mount Mary’s HS of Chinchinim by a solitary goal while St Jude’s HS of Betalbatim defeated Rosary HS, Navelim 2-0.
The semi-finals and the final will be played on August 26.Infant Jesus HS will clash with Marina English HS at 10.30 a.m. while St Xavier HS will take on St Jude’s HS in the second semi-final at 11.30 a.m. The final will be played at 4.00 p.m.
