Friends Sporting Club, Carambolim beat Sunshine SC 3-0 in the finals of Friends Exhibition soccer match series organised by Friends Sporting Club, Carambolim at Carambolim Panchayat ground, Carambolim on Monday. The score was 1-0 at half time.
Friends opened their account through Bosco Gonsalves.
Changing ends, Derryl D’Souza converted off a free kick.
In the last ten minutes, Friends scored their final goal through Frankie Mascarenhas.
Benzy Gonsalves, Friends SC took the best player of the tournament prize while Suraj Mulgaonkar, Sunshine SC claimed the upcoming player award.
Maria Mascarenhas, Special Judicial Magistrate, North Goa was the chief guest and gave away the prizes. Also present were Kundan Bomkar, panch, Dinesh Usgaonkar president, Sunshine SC and Rosario Dias, president, Friends SC, Carambolim.
