PANJIM: A one day regional workshop on State level public enterprises (SLPEs) organized by department of public enterprises, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Govt of India in association with Goa Shipyard Limited was held in Goa, recently.
The workshop was aimed at providing a common platform for sharing best practices amongst State level public enterprises (SLPEs) and Central public sector enterprises (CPSEs). Besides, apprising the participants about the latest development in the public sector both nationally and internationally as well as facilitate in the development of managerial capacity in the State Owned Enterprises (SOW).
The workshop was attended by Dr Nitish SenGupta, chairman BRPSE, O P Rawat, Secretary Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Govt of India and Ravi Mathur Secretary, Department of Disinvestment, Govt of India. Ashok Sinha, Joint Secretary DPE, RAdm Vineet Bakhshi, VSM, CMD GSL, Dr Sharat Kumar, Economic Advisor DPE and other senior Officials of the Central Govt were also present on the occasion.
Representatives from SLPEs from Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Goa, Daman and Diu attended the workshop.
