CALANGUTE: Calangute police on Tuesday arrested a Nigerian national with illicit drugs worth Rs 70,000. Calangute police said they received specific information that one person would be coming on a two-wheeler to deliver narcotic substances to prospective customers near a resort at Porbowado, Calangute.
A police team kept watch at the spot and nabbed the Nigerian, Olayinka Olusola, 23, when he arrived. He was found in possession of four grams of cocaine, and two grams ecstasy, all worth approximately Rs 70,000.

He has been booked under sections 21(b) and 22(b) of NDPS Act 1985 and is remanded to four days police custody. The scooter which he was riding has also been seized, Calangute police said.
