Guardian Angel in finals

A brilliant hat-trick from Russel Vaz helped Guardian Angel High School, Curchorem score a fluent 5-0 win over MIBK, Ponda to enter the South Goa district final of Under-14 Subroto Mukherjee inter-school football tournament at Manora ground, Raia on Friday.
Samindo Colaco and Myron Mendes were the other scorers for Guardian Angel. Deepvihar High School, Vasco beat Our Lady of Fatima High School, Rivona 2-0 via the tie-breaker to sail into the semi-finals. The teams remained goalless at the end of regulation time.
In the tie-breaker, Rolland Khande and Joyfern were on target for Deepvihar.
