“Let us wait for a decision of the tribunal, and whatever outcome it may be, Goa and Karnataka should agree,” Parsekar told the House responding to Zero Hour mention by Independent legislator Vijai Sardesai.
The MLA had raised apprehension on the status of the project, interim stay and recent assurance of out of court settlement by Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar.
“Whatever statement of Parrikar that appeared in the media was published in distorted form.He had said Karnataka is not Pakistan and it is true…I have also clarified… We will have to wait for a decision of the tribunal,” he further said asking the legislator that it was not proper to repeatedly raise the issue. Sardesai had asked the government to clarify its stand on the disputed matter.
