RAWANFOND-MARGAO: An all-round performance by skipper Tejaswini Durgad helped host Goa to register their third consecutive win as they demolished Tamil Nadu by five wickets in the Elite Group C U-19 girls one day cricket tournament, at Margao Cricket Club ground, on Saturday.
Tejaswini Durgad claimed 4 wickets in 19 runs and later scored a steady knock of 45 runs in 91 balls with help of 5 hits to the fence.
Batting first, Tamil Nadu scored 99 runs in 45.5 overs. C. Sushantika top scored with 22 runs.
In reply, Goa achieved the target for the loss of five wickets in the 31st over after shaky start.
Goa will now meet Jammu & Kashmir in their fourth league match at Sanguem Cricket Academy ground.
