In order to make Goa the tourism capital of India, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated that different ministries are working to achieve the same goal. Sawant also informed that the plan to organise a three-day Shiv (Shankar) Festival for Shivratri at Tambdi Surla is still in its nascent stages. He said that with ideas from the GTDC chairman the festival will be conducted to boost Goa’s tourism.
