PONDA: Reiterating their demand for rolling back the hiked cattle feed prices; Goa Dairy Farmers continued their agitation for the second day. However, the Goa Dairy Administrator refused to budge after having increasing the price by Rs 4 from January 16. In view of this, some of the farmers submitted their memorandum to the Registrar of Cooperative Society calling for a special general body meeting. They also point out that if the prices are hiked then there should be a proportionate hike in milk procurement prices for farmers.
