PONDA: Ponda police have arrested a 23-year-old for stalking a Higher Secondary School (HSS) student. The parents of the 17-year-old girl had filed a complaint, based on which, Ponda police led by PI Mohan Gaude arrested Narayan alias Munna Anant Desai, who is a resident of Palim, Bicholim, under section 354 (D) of IPC.
According to the police, the accused, a bouncer by profession, had been stalking and teasing the girl for the last three months even though the girl never responded and despite the parent’s warnings. The girl’s family is from Bicholim but has settled in Ponda
