Indian Super League (ISL) club FC Goa officially announced the departure of Spanish centre-back and club captain Odei Onaindia on Thursday via their social media platforms, marking the end of a key chapter in the club’s recent history.
Onaindia, known for his exceptional game-reading ability, aerial dominance, and composure under pressure, quickly became one of the most reliable defenders in the ISL. He joined the Gaurs ahead of the 2023–24 season, reuniting with head coach Manolo Marquez, under whom he previously played at Hyderabad FC.
