PANJIM: Panjim police have booked an offence against a car driver for injuring three men while driving the vehicle in an inebriated condition. Mehara Virid, aged 20 years has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and causing the accident.
PI Sudesh Velip said that the car occupant Swapnil Cittur, a resident of Chicalim; bike rider Parsuram Sinde and pillion rider Shabnam Yadav, both residents of Caranzalem were injured. The rider and pillion were knocked down on Thursday afternoon.
