PANJIM: Renowned Goan shooter Yash Yogeshwar Padloskar bagged silver medal at 59th National School Shooting Games, held at Balewadi Shooting Range, Pune, recently.
Around 816 shooters from 28 States from all over India including 28 Goans participated in the event which included Open site Air Rifle, Peep site Air Rifle and Pistol shooting event.
Ganesh Mhapsekar, Vishwasai and Rakhado took the fourth place for Goa in shooting event.
Yash, student of Saraswat Vidyalaya, Mapusa is placed in a renowned shooter list. He has to his credit many medals in shooting in junior and senior shooting championships organised by National Rifle Shooting Association of India.
Yash is the son of Yogeshwar Padloskar and Bhageshri Padloskar.
The International Shooting Coach and Secretary General of Rifle Shooting Association, Goa Adv Meghasham Bhanglehas congratulated Yash Padloskar for his excellent performance and also gave compliments to the other shooters who stood on fourth position.
