NADORA: Screaming Eagles downed Flaming Dragon to lift the 1st Nadora Premier League, recently.
Both the teams failed to find the back of the net as the first half ended 0-0.
In the second half, Screaming Eagle looked more dominant and Ramesh Gawas broke the deadlock by scoring a goal with his back heel.
Minutes later, Screaming Eagle charged ahead with some attacking football and doubled their lead.
Flaming Dragon tried hard to get back into the game but failed to score due to their opponents’ all-round preformance.
Omkar Vaigankar, Chairman of Goan Warriors Football Club was the chief guest and gave away the winners’ trophy while Surendra Gawas gave away the runners-up trophy.
Nadora Panthers received the third place trophy from Yoganad Gawas while Fire Hawks were awared the most discipline team by Mohan Kalangutkar.
Roaring Lions were named as the best sporting team of the tournament..
