Don Bosco emerge North Goa champs

Don Bosco High School, Panjim demolished St. Joseph High School, Pernem, 3-0 in the finals of North Goa District under-14 Subroto Mukerjee football tournament at Peddem ground, Mapusa on Wednesday.
Akeraj Martins scored a brace in the first half and Dale Nunes scored one in the second half.
St. Joseph made some attempts but failed to convert.
Earlier in the semi-finals, Don Bosco High School, Panjim defeated Our Lady of Grace High School, Bicholim 7-0. For Don Bosco, Dale Nunes shot 3 goals, Akeraj Martins 2 and Kallen Colaco and Pathson Ribeiro one each.
In the taluka finals, Don Bosco defeated Fr. Agnel High School, Pilar 7-0.
