CURTORIM: Bhati defeated Unjirim 5-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Jose and Franky Memorial inter-ward football tournament, played at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Monday.
Unjirim netted the first goal through Sheldon Sardinha in the 3rd minute.
Within five minutes Bhati equalised through Presley Fernandes.
Presley scored four more goals for Bhati in the 15th, 18th, 20th and 22nd minute.
Unjirim tried their level best to reduce the scoreline but the strikers failed to convert the chances.
However, Nestor D’Silva made it 2-5 for Unjirim in the dying minute of second half.
