Through my Citizen Herald letter dated August 13, I had bought to the attention of the concerned authorities regarding motorists using coloured Bulbs (Headlights) like Blue/Orange/ Pink/Red color, etc, for their vehicles, which are very dangerous for human eyes because these rays directly enter into the eyes.
Many people have lost their lives due to these coloured lights, because when the vehicles on the opposite direction use coloured lights, it becomes difficult for the driver to see his vehicle and even lose control of the vehicle and sometimes goes off the track.
Regret to inform that no action has been taken on this as yet by the concerned authorities.
We would be grateful if the Directorate of Transport takes necessary action against all the vehicles using coloured lights and ask them to remove the coloured lights and put a notification of the same on the local newspapers.
