Margao: Three fishing boats and a hut were gutted in fire reported at Benaulim beach on Tuesday. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Two fibre boats, a wooden boat and an adjoining hutment were destroyed.
The Margao fire brigade received a call at 1.30 am. The boats and hut belonged to Anarita Fernandes, Constancio Fernandes and Vincent Fernandes. Investigation is on and the Fire Department officials are quantifying the loss.
