FATORDA: Young Strikers Benaulim and United Sports Club, Seraulim played out 0-0 draw in the GFA U-14 League, at the artificial turf ground, Fatorda, on Wednesday.
Young Strikers and USC Seraulim had equal number of chances in the well contested match.
YS, Benaulim had the first shy as in the 12th minute Chris Alphonso of took his shot at the goal however the brilliant strike bounced back after it hit the cross-bar resulting the golden opportunity for the Benaulim side being cleared by USC, Seraulim defender.
USC, Seraulim had equal number of chances as their winger Jollinton Antoao moved the ball through the flank and made an attempt towards the goal however his attempt ballooned over in the 34th minute.
Later Phil Braganza and Shawn Colaco had a chance to score for Young Strikers but missed to be on target.
Both the teams failed to score as the scoreboard read 0-0 at 90 minutes.
In another match at Assolna ground, Tilamol United defeated Ambelim 3-1 while UC Utorda thrashed Velsao SC 8-0, at Velsao ground.
At Batim ground, Goa Velha SC squeezed past Cabesa SCC 2-1
