PANJIM: Sporting Clube de Goa scored a narrow 2-1 win over Sesa FA in the Goa Football Association U-16 League played Sesa FA ground, Sanquelim, on Tuesday.
SESA FA took the lead in the 15th minute through Aryan Saliwke. Sesa FA led 1-0 at the break. Crossing over, Sporting Clube de Goa were a totally transformed side and they scored two late goals through Francis Fernandes and Iceson Carvalho.
In another match at Cavelossim ground, Sirlim SC thumped Colmorod Ratavaddo SC 7-1.
Roshmon Gomendes was the star player for his side as he scored four goals while Mukafarhusain and Adriel Mendes netted a brace each.
Velon Rebello and Sunil Patyekar scored for the losing side.
At Nagoa ground, Pax of Nagoa scored a resounding 7-3 win over CRC Chinchinim.
Yash Naik put up a five star performance for his side as he scored five goals. Milburn Moniz and Rover Fernandes were the other goal scorers.
Rizle Fernandes, Jovi Pereira and Tabreez netted for Chinchinim.
At Cuncolim ground, a brace each from Rio Colaco and Shennoy Andrade helped Salcete FC score 5-0 win over Curtorim Gymkhana.
