GCA whistleblower hints at another scam

Prabhudesai says there is another scam of Rs 10 crore

PANJIM: More skeletons might tumble out of the Goa Cricket Association (GCA) cupboard with the whistleblower of the Rs 1 crore scam claiming that he would soon expose, another Rs 10 crore scam in the association.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Nilesh Prabhudesai said, “I am studying the documents. There is another scam of Rs 10 crore approximately which I will expose soon.
Prabhudesai, based on whose complaint the Economic Offences Cell (EOC) registered a case against former GCA President Dayanand Narvekar, GCA President Chetan Desai, Secretary Vinod Phadke and former Treasurer Akbar Mulla for misappropriating Rs 1 crore has hinted at the foursome’s involvement in the fresh scam.
Pointing at massive irregularities in the association, Faldesai has demanded appointing an administrator in the association.
Meanwhile, EOC sleuths interrogated Desai, Phadke and Mulla for several hours on Friday.
