VASCO: Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida commenting on the issue of hiring private buses to ply on some internal routes, he informed that “During the tenure of then Chief Minister late Manohar Parrikar there was a scheme in KTC and the routes were also shortlisted from Canacona and Curchorem. So these routes have been revived by the KTC.
We are in the process of talks with the Pvt bus operators as the rates have to be finalised for the payment and it should also be included in the budget in the upcoming assembly session.

When asked about the present status of Vasco KTC bus stand project, he said that all the ongoing projects will be completed including the depot which is in progress.
