CURCHOREM: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda booked their place in the finals defeating Guardian Angel Sports Club, Curchorem 1-0 in late Fr. Gervasio Pinto inter-village football tournament, organized by Angels Boys of Curchorem, at Figueiredo ground, Curchorem, Sunday.
Both the teams adopted aggressive approach in the opening session and kept the crowd on their toes. The defenders of both the teams were very active in their respective citadel. There was no score at the break.
After the break, the teams continued to attack each other.
In the 22nd minute DBO managed to took the lead through striker Francis Andrade. Stung by that setback, Guardian Angel intensified their attacks and tried very hard to equalize but the defenders of DBO resisted their moves.
DBO, Fatorda will face Navelim Sporting Club in the finals on November 17, on the occasion of Guardian Angel feast, at 4 p.m.
