Citizens Of Goa said there were five witnesses who saw Bismarque and two other suspects at 11.30 pm on the night of his disappearance sitting at Uddear at 9.15 pm. While returning at 11 pm they again saw Bismarque and the two suspects. Citizens Of Goa said this does not match the story of the suspects as they said Bismarque had left Uddear and had gone to another place at 11.30 pm and they were not with him at that time. COG has sought that Crime Branch investigate this.
Citizens Of Goa has also prepared a case study according to which the theory of the two suspects could possibly be false. They have come up with several conclusions from the case study and demand serious investigations in the case. They have also demanded full police protection of the suspects.
COG’s Kennedy Afonso demanded that the GPS location of Bismarque’s mobile be detected by Crime Branch. “Once it is done the case will become crystal clear,” he said.
He added, “It is a shame that the vest given for investigation came without any DNA report after 45 days. If there is no DNA on the vest given then where is the vest that Father was wearing?”
Social activist Swati Kerkar requested Goans to believe that the case is serious and does involve murder. “Fr Bismarque’s body has still not been buried. All of us, his family in particular, are waiting for justice to be done,” she said.
She added that the investigation has not been done correctly as the case has many twists as every report is contradictory and is arriving at a different conclusion.
Citizens Of Goa has requested further investigation and claimed that if Crime Branch does not take action according to the demands and it will be proved that the police are involved in the case.
