AREAL: Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda defeated Chandor Sports Club 5-3 via the tie breaker to enter into the semifinals of the Areal Panchayat Cup Inter Village Football tournament organised by Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club at Padribhat ground, Areal on Thursday.
Both the teams failed to decide during regulation time which ended goalless.

In the tiebreaker, Velton D’Souza, Maxwell Furtado, Hanslum Furtado, Veliston D’Souza, Velito Miranda scored for DBO Fatorda while Mark Fernandes, Brivon Dias, Lovie Noronha netted for Chandor Sports Club.
Lovie Noronha of Chandor was declared the best player of the match and received the prize from Inacio Faleiro, former Sao Jose de Areal player.
