MAPUSA: A day after the youth from Aldona filled the potholes on Calvin Bridge and highlighted the illumination issue; Aldona MLA Glenn Ticlo along with officials from the Electricity Department, GSIDC and PWD and panchayat members on Wednesday inspected the bridge.
Ticlo assured to take up the issue of handing over the bridge from Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) to PWD with the Chief Minister.

The issue of damaged cables and the maintenance of Corjuem Bridge were also raised during the inspection.
“I have been following up the issue of illumination and GSIDC will rectify it. On handling over the Bridge, I will take up this matter with the Chief Minister and involve the principal engineer along with panch members so that the process is completed”, Ticlo assured.
GSIDC official Chandrashekhar Naik said, “We will try to illuminate the bridge portion and take up the work to rectify faulty cables”.
