CAVELOSSIM: Don Bosco Oratory came from behind to down Fr Agnelo YSC Paroda via tie breaker 10-9 (fulltime 2-2) to enter the final of the Cavelossim Villagers UK Cup, organised by Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim and played at Fr Druston and Wellington ground, Cavelossim.

The well-balanced teams produced attacking football much to the delight of the holiday crowd.
Don Bosco missed an early chance when Valiston D’Souza sent his blistering shot just over the crossbar.
However, in the next minute, Don Bosco survived a scare when a free taken from the centre was headed by Cyril Dias towards goal but the ball landed near Selton Frenandes who could only respond with a feeble push which was cleared in the the nick of time by defender Alfred Noronha of Don Bosco.
Jaison Dias of Paroda, collecting the ball in midfield, made an individual run, brushing aside Valito and Roque Borges, before chipping over an advancing goalkeeper Karol Soares to give Paroda the lead.
Don Bosco, however, restored parity when Valiston D’Souza took a low shot from the right flank which was headed back in the goal mouth by Maxwell Furtado for Valito Miranda to head into the left corner of the Paroda goal, well beyond the reach of Ibon Fernandes. Don Bosco went ahead when a free kick taken by Charlton Pereira was headed in by Maxwell Furtado.
They could have extended their lead but Clancio Pinto ballooned his shot over the bar with goalkeeper at his mercy.
Paroda fought back in the 70th minute forcing a corner, taken by Shelton Fernandes, which resulted in Velroy Carvalho leveling the score at 2-2.
In the ensuing marathon tiebreaker, Karol blocked Benzu Clemente’s shot to take Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda into the final.
