PANJIM: Dr Ashwin Mascarenhas, who is a Goa Boxing Association doctor, has been selected and nominated by Boxing Federation of India as Ringside Medical Officer for the REC Talent Hunt Open Boxing Championship to be held at Rothak, Haryana, from September 4 to 13.
Dr Ashwin is a sportsperson himself having represented Goa in swimming at National meets. He is expected to be inducted into the Boxing Federation of India Medical Committee.
