CURCHOREM: A 19-year-old rider from Curchorem died in a road accident at Tanki-Xeldem after he reportedly dashed his two-wheeler against the cattle squatting on the road on Tuesday night.
According to Quepem Police, Om Bhende from Bansai-Curchorem was travelling on his two-wheeler from Tilamol to Curchorem and on reaching at Tanki he dashed his two-wheeler against the cattle squatting along the road. The impact was such that Bhende fell off his two-wheeler and died due to the head injuries sustained in the accident. The body was handed over to his relatives for final rites after the post-mortem.
