SANGUEM: DS Strikers beat SAI Sports Club by 7 wickets in the 3rd Kalay Premier League Cricket tournament in memory of Shobavati Bicholkar organised by Frontline Academy Kalay, at GCA ground, Sanguem, on Wednesday.
SAI SC won the toss and elected to bat.
They scored 88 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the alotted 16 overs.
Parshit Dessai was the top scorer of the innings with an unbeaten 32 followed by Pritesh Shelke (15).
The DS Strikers bowlers put up a formidable performance as Sanjay Missal grabbed 2 wickets while Satendra Shelke and Dinesh Rekdo picked a wicket each.
In reply, DS Strikers chased down the target in 14.1 overs.
Munna Pingle was the top scorer who remained unbeaten with 57 runs followed by Rajesh Jangle (14 n.o).
Only Pritesh Shelke was the in-form bowler for SAI SC as he scalped 3 wickets. Munna Pingle was named man-of-the-match.
