PSI Gudlar wanted Dudu out of jail, tapes reveal

After releasing the Gudlar tapes in partly, a local channel today aired the complete tape which shows Police Sub Inspector Sunil Gudlar stating that he himself wants David Driham alias Dudu to be out from the jail.
In the complete version of Gudlar story, the tape showed on Prudent Media shows how the PSI had received directions to the flat of Zarina, Dudu’s girlfriend.
The tape shows that Gudlar was picked up from Parra junction to this flat where the entire sting operation was planned.
The bespectacled PSI is also heard stating that he wants Dudu to be out of jail. He is seen telling both the Israeli girls that once Dudu is out they should fly back to their country.
Ironically, Gudlar had arrested Dudu and was the investigating officer in the case under supervision of Superintendent of Police (ANC) Veenu Bansal.
The disgraced PSI is seen accepting gifts like whiskey bottle, chocolates and scent bottle from Dudu’s sister Ayala Driham.
The tapes also have Gudlar stating that he has warned Sagar (landlord of Dudu) of fixing him in the drugs case.
In a shameful revelation, the PSI is also shown claiming that his seniors who are posted here from Delhi are down here to make money. He has said that he is giving his seniors money often.
The PSI refers to money as `Mahatma Gandhi.’
In an interview to the channel, Ayala has said that after his arrest Dudu was allowed to stay in the room adjacent to Bansal’s cabin.
Earlier in two different statements to the Crime Branch, Ayala and Zarina had stated that Dudu was framed into the drug charges. Zarina has said that she was forced out of the car and her boyfriend was shoved in the car by police led by Bansal in February 2010.
Zarina has also said that the CCTV camera fitted by Dudu outside his residence has captured the entire footage.
