Vasco Carnival float parade on 20 February, to be free from plastic & pollution

Carnival floats parade in
Vasco will be held on February 20. Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) Chairperson
Leo Rodrigues, who has been unanimously elected as Vasco Carnival Committee
Chairman said,the parade would be free from plastic and pollution.Carnival events
will be held for four days starting from February 18 to 22. “We will have
various programmes including a Konkani musical show on the last day. We are
planning to have a plastic-free Carnival this year and we will not use any fire
crackers so that the Vasco Carnival can also be pollution free.” He said
