VARCA: Crosly Charlton Lourenco and Tercy Fernandes e D’Costa were declared elected unopposed as the Varca Village Panchayat sarpanch and deputy sarpanch respectively, on Friday morning.
Speaking to Herald, the victorious sarpanch Lourenco assured to undertake development works of this South Goa coastal village panchayat on a priority basis.

“The 14th Finance funds have remained unutilised as the proposal diagrams were faulty and sketches were missing and hence, were rejected. I will follow up on this matter and also approach the Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao seeking his support,” said Lourenco.
