MAPUSA: The Colvale police arrested a Nepali maid for allegedly stealing valuables and cash from the residence of her employer.
Colvale PI Vijay Rane stated that Nisha Vernekar, resident of Housing Board here lodged a complaint that her maid servant stole Rs 50,000, a mobile phone and two gold bangles- all valued at Rs 1,50,000 from her house.

The police registered an offence under Crime No 79/2023 U/s 381 IPC and during the course of investigation, placed the 23-yr-old under arrest and was produced before the court and remanded to police custody.
