Freedom fighters once again raised the issue of evacuee property, which has been stalled and the ownership titles issue stands pending during the Goa Revolution Day celebration at Azad Maidan.
Responding to this, CM said “Evacuee property issue is very close to my heart as I’m from the same taluka and whenever I have got the opportunity, I’ve placed the issue in the House. The next step towards allotting the ownership titles will be taken up soon.”
He also assured to resolve the employment issue of freedom fighters’ children. “Former CM (late) Manohar Parrikar was the one who had initiated the process to provide employment to 350 children of freedom fighters and it will be my responsibility to complete the process and provide employment to them”, he stated.
