PARODA: Cuncolim Union downed Guirdolim SC 4-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Assis Afonso memorial youth soccer organised by Fr. Agnelo Youth Sports Club, Paroda, Quepem, at Panchayat ground, Avedem-Paroda, on Monday.
Cuncolim Union scored first goal in the second half five minutes after resumption by Colander Fernandes.
Alister Fernandes netted two goals Mario Noronha pulled a goal back in for Guirdolim.
Cuncolim further inflated through Rosario Carvallo with just a minute left for the final whistle.
