Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda trounced Union of Chinchinim Villagers Union 4-0 to storm into the semi-finals of All-Goa Varca Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Varca Sports Club at Varca ground, on Monday. Don Bosco led 2-0 at half time.
Vincent Barbosa and Roque Borges were the stars for Don Bosco who scored a brace each.
Don Bosco took the lead when Vincent Barbosa stunned the Chinchinim goal with a rasping drive giving no chance to the rival goalkeeper.
Roque Borges doubled the lead midway in the opening session when his snap shot beat the Chinchinim goalkeeper hands down.
The second half did not bring any respite for Chinchinim as Don Bosco repeatedly raided the Chinchinim citadel and their persistent raids fetched them dividends when Vincent Barbosa completed his brace with a stiff grounder.
Man-of-the match Roque Borges rounded off the tally for Don Bosco in the dying minutes.
