PANJIM: Viscount High School, Pernem defeated Vikas High School, Valpoi by five wickets in the finals of Pernem Zone under-14 cricket tournament, recently. Vikas High School won the toss and elected to bat scoring 53 in 17.4 overs.
Gujaran Kharwat scored 10 while Keshav Parab added nine runs. Yeshwant Manjrekar and Shivam Parab grabbed wickets each.
Viscount High School completed the rout in 11.4 overs but in the bargain lost five wickets. Yatin Ghadi and Uttam Gadekar were both not out on 13 and 10 respectively.
Gujaran Kharwat and Tanish Asolkar took two wickets each.
