Family dynamics kick in a lot more in season 3, and yes, you can expect more family scenes,” shared Raj Nidimoru, the Director of the much-anticipated series ‘The Family Man.’ He added, “This is a great place to premiere. We were here for season 2 as well, so we love to be at IFFI. The Family Man is an edgy and offbeat series on Prime Video that revolves around the life of Srikant Tiwari, a seemingly typical middle-class man who secretly works as an agent for the Threat Assessment and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional unit of the National Investigation Agency based in Mumbai. While trying to manage the intense demands of his high-risk profession and his responsibilities at home, Srikant finds it increasingly difficult to maintain a balance. He undertakes perilous missions against terrorists while striving to be a caring husband and a supportive father. As he becomes more deeply involved in the shadowy world of intelligence and espionage, Srikant must safeguard his family from the dangers linked to his secret career, all while confronting moral conflicts that challenge his values, integrity, and sense of loyalty. Manoj Bajpayee, the lead actor of the movie, playing Srikant, said, “For small films and series, this is a big platform to showcase their art, and we are grateful to IFFI for premiering our series as well.” He was keen on adding that “Raj and DK always make sure that the series stays fresh and interesting. It was quite a ride for me as an actor.” When asked about why it took so long for season 3 to release, the director whimsically added, “Cooking something good takes time, but we assure you the next season will be released sooner, definitely less than four and a half years.” The entire cast of the movie apologised for the delay in coming up with season 3, but ensured that the season is up to the expectations of fans. “At Prime Video, we have always been the leaders in telling authentic, rooted hyperlocal stories, and Family Man is a literal example of that. The characters of the series are relatable and absolutely wonderful. The cast of Family Man is incredible and has done such a great performance, which has made the show timeless,” Shared the representative of Amazon Prime Video. Actress Nimrat Kaur shared, “I am honoured, and it is a very big privilege for me to be part of this show. I’m so grateful and happy.” When asked about whether good content is released more in OTT, actor Manoj Bajpayee replied, “A content being good or bad is very subjective, and also that it does not matter where it is being released as long as the content is good.”
