US Envoy Sergio Gor Takes Boat Ride On Loktak Lake During Manipur Visit

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor visited Manipur’s Loktak Lake on Saturday during his two-day visit to the northeastern state. Gor, accompanied by US Consul General in Kolkata Kathy Giles-Diaz, reached Imphal on Friday. On Saturday, he travelled to Bishnupur district and took a boat ride on Loktak Lake, the largest freshwater lake in the Northeast, according to an official. The visit comes as Gor continues his engagement in Manipur during his two-day trip. Officials confirmed that the US envoy visited the lake and took a boat ride there.
