The sit-in protest against the Abhinandan Lodha project in Karapur has been called off after 161 days, following the Karapur-Sarvan Panchayat’s issuance of a “stop-work” notice to the project.
The protesters said the decision to suspend the agitation was taken in view of the latest development, but clarified that their opposition to the project remains unchanged.
