Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Vishwesh Karpe shared a series of precautionary measures, advising citizens to stay alert and adopt basic security practices, particularly when leaving their homes unattended.

Police have appealed to residents to secure doors and windows properly, remain cautious about suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods and avoid sharing information about travel plans or vacant homes publicly.
Citizens have also been encouraged to maintain contact with trusted neighbours and immediately report any suspicious persons, vehicles or activities to the police.
The advisory comes as increased travel and festive celebrations may leave some homes unattended, making vigilance and preventive security measures particularly important.
