A man from Tonynagar, Savordem, has been booked by police after an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) attached to the Special Branch alleged that he was slapped while on duty in Curchorem.
The incident reportedly took place on September 12 near Chandra Café in Curchorem.

According to the complaint, the ASI was carrying out his official duties in the area when the accused allegedly assaulted him by slapping him.
Police have registered a case in connection with the alleged assault and are conducting further inquiries into the incident.
